Equine Rehabilitation & Performance Conditioning
Do you have a horse that's experienced an injury, illness, or event that needs time off, limited turnout, or specialized care? After the initial diagnosis and critical care have been handled, we know the next few weeks or months can be grueling and tedious as you work to get your horse back to performance shape.
Let us take on the hard work. We collaborate with your veterinarian(s), follow a precise care plan, and give your horse a comfortable place to rest and recover.
Should my horse come to rehab? If your horse is dealing with:
- Serious wounds
- Joint, tendon, ligament, or muscle injuries
- Recovery from surgery
- Chronic body soreness, poor condition, or deteriorating performance
- The need to be re-conditioned before show season or sale-prepped
We can help. We work with your referring vet team.
We are not a replacement for veterinary care. Acute care needs go to your vet first, then to us.
A Full Toolkit for Recovery
We don't rely on just one method, every rehab plan draws from whatever combination actually gets your horse back to their best.

Frequently asked questions
Should my horse come to rehab?
If your horse is dealing with serious wounds; joint, tendon, ligament, or muscle injuries; recovery from surgery; chronic body soreness, poor condition, or deteriorating performance; the need to be re-conditioned before show season; or sale prep, we can help. Our facility is purposefully kept small, so care stays hyper-focused on your equine athlete. It's the perfect place to rest, recover, recuperate, and rebuild.
Will rehab replace my vet?
No. We work in tandem with your referring veterinarian, we are not a replacement for your veterinary care team.
What if my horse has an acute injury right now?
Seek veterinary attention first, then contact us for the recovery phase that follows.

Wound care:
Not all rehab centers take on wound care, we do. One case: a horse caught itself on an exposed metal gate piece, leaving a wound roughly four by six inches, deep enough to narrowly miss the pleural space. Stitched, but healed via secondary intention after the stitches didn't hold. That horse returned to normal performance and has won buckles since.
Amenities:
Every rehab plan follows a protocol that's either vet-prescribed or owner-approved. Horses on stall rest get comfortable stalls with rubber mats and ample bedding, cleaned two to three times a day, along with sanitized buckets and clean water at all times. Feed is included, or we're happy to use what you supply, and hay is available around the clock for gut health.
Wellness checks happen morning, afternoon, and evening, in a calm, peaceful setting monitored by stall cameras — and since we live on-site, there's always someone close by. When it's appropriate for the horse, dry lot or pasture turnout is part of the routine too.
Training & Lessons
Horsemanship is the knowledge, skills, and attitude required to understand and meet a horse's physical, emotional, and mental needs during care, training, and riding. You'll spend time in the saddle, and you'll also learn to read a horse, care for one, and stay safe around one.
